Bio:

Dinesh Bangari is the Head of Global Discovery Pathology & Multimodal Imaging department within Sanofi’s research platform. Dinesh has over 20 years of research experience including 14 years in biopharma drug discovery. He has authored/co-authored over 70 peer-reviewed publications, and a book. He is also an active contributor/leader in several special interest groups and committees of Society of Toxicology Pathology and European Society of Toxicologic Pathology. Dinesh received his PhD in Molecular Virology and Residency training in Anatomic Pathology at Purdue University. He is ACVP board certified in anatomic pathology. Dinesh obtained veterinary medical education and graduate research training in veterinary virology in India.

His current scientific focus is to facilitate translational research using in-vivo models and novel complex in vitro models (organoids and microphysiological systems). His team utilizes a versatile and modern pathology toolkit composed of routine histology and IHC/ISH capabilities, advanced super resolution microscopy, digital and quantitative pathology powered by AI/ML based solutions, as well as cross-disciplinary collaboration for multi-dimensional spatial biology.
